This week, take five designs named in igl-brand-kb/community/customer-reviews-current.md (CURRENT SoR, captured 2026-09-28) and list each on exactly one non-shirt item in Printify: Excuse Me, Bird Feeder's Empty (367 reviews), Quietly Cheering for Moss (27), Listen to the Birds (23), Listen to Birds Not News (14), Cardinal Birds Graphic (9). Put the three bird designs on a tea towel and the other two on a cotton tote.
That container choice is not a guess. BeCause Tees — the garden-and-bird brand in IGL's own niche — has two tea towels in its captured top 25: Backyard Birds Gathering Tea Towel at rank 12 and Summer Fireflies Tea Towel at rank 15, both $14.99. Totes appear in the captured top 25 of allbutfaded.io (ranks 2, 19, 20, 22) and gardengirltees.com (rank 6).
Count those five listings on the weekly design row instead of five new pieces of art, because they need no art. Two file fixes belong in the same pass:
1. The Product Mix | Apparel, home goods, garden decor line in wescale-kb/members/tim-dobyns.md (line 35) is wrong. Across all 1,025 product reviews captured 2026-09-28, every named product is a shirt form — 887 T-Shirt, 50 Long Sleeve, 39 Tank Top, 29 V-Neck, 19 Racerback — plus one gift card. Zero home goods, zero garden decor. 2. Re-admit the 41 records in competitors-kb/proven-winners/_filtered/manifest-filtered.json into the miner's Discover pool as a container lane. The 2026-07-12 non-tee filter removed exactly the evidence this move rests on, which is why the weekly mining loop cannot surface it by itself.
Disney's money came from putting art he already owned into new containers; the competitor best-seller corpus shows that same move working inside IGL's own niche right now; and IGL's 240 reviewed designs sit on shirt cuts only.
Disney's industry asked "what new picture do we release this year?" He asked "what new container can carry the picture I already own?" The 346 transcript has him pitching exactly this to the movie moguls: he hands finished films to ABC, "which he doesn't have to pay for anything else," and they rebroadcast them — the point being that it makes "your existing assets more valuable." The 039 transcript supplies the pressure behind it: the profits of Snow White were eaten by the costs of Pinocchio, Fantasia and Bambi, which "were money losers for a long time."
Crucially he paired the container move with its opposite refusal. The slogan he wrote inside his hat to remind himself — "you can't top pigs with pigs" — was why he would not make a Three Little Pigs sequel. New container for the old asset, yes. New version of the old joke, no. That distinction is the whole nugget, and it is what separates this from "make more variants."
The mastermind asks the volume question instead: the scorecard's leading input row is "New Designs Launched," and the coach's framing in call-42 (dated 2026-08-13) is explicit — 93% of cohort sales were t-shirts, 19 of 20 best-sellers evergreen, "they are not adding products, channels or wrapping paper this year." But that instruction is derived from the cohort's own sales mix, which is circular: the cohort does not sell non-tees because the cohort does not make non-tees. The competitor corpus is the outside view, and in this exact niche it disagrees — 41 of 661 captured best-seller slots were non-apparel, concentrated in 9 of 32 stores, and the pipeline moved all 41 out of the mining pool on 2026-07-12.
No single shelf reaches this. The founders shelf supplies the container-versus-sequel distinction. The competitor artifact supplies the rank evidence and the record of its own deletion. The brand shelf supplies the counts showing IGL has never once run the move: 26 of 240 reviewed base designs appear in more than one form, and every one of those forms is a shirt cut.
